Hi, I’m Sally
I am a counsellor, drawing on a range of psychological theories to guide me in my work and help clients understand and explore their thoughts and feelings safely.
I work alongside clients who are suffering from a variety of issues including low self-esteem, stress, feelings of uncertainty, anxiety, depression, phobias and loneliness, as well as those battling with change or unhealthy patterns of relating.
As well as working as a therapist, I write about mental health for practitioners in the form of blogs, articles and other related content and I am involved in clinical research.
I completed a degree in psychology and media studies and enjoyed a career in corporate advertising before training as a therapist. I am a registered member of the BACP.
I offer an initial telephone consultation to allow us to decide if we would like to work together. Sessions are face to face and I work from a clinic in Newbury. Please contact me at sally@sallydurbridge.com for further information and details on availability.
“My mission is to build an authentic, positive connection with my clients, providing a safe space to explore the relationships they have with themselves and those around them.”
